Laser Cutting & Engraving FAQ


1. How long does my case take?

Our current lead time for most cutting and engraving jobs is within 1-3 days, depending on the material, design complexity, and current workload.

 

 

2. Do you offer same-day engraving?

For small and simple engraving jobs such as name engraving, same-day pickup (quick engraving) may be available. 

Please contact us in advance to confirm availability.


 

3. Can I bring my own item for engraving?

Yes, customer-supplied items are acceptable.

While we take great care when engraving, customer-supplied items are processed at the owner's risk.

Materials may react differently during the laser process, so we cannot fully guarantee the engraving quality. Whenever possible, we recommend testing with a sample first.

For large or important orders, we recommend providing spare items.

 

 

4. How much does cutting/engraving cost?

Pricing varies depending on:

  • Material

  • Cutting/Engraving size

  • Design complexity

  • Processing time

Please send us the item details and design file for an accurate quote.

 

 

5. What materials can you cut or engrave?

We can cut or engrave a wide range of materials.

Please note that some materials can only be engraved, not cut. For materials that can be cut, please provide the thickness, so we can confirm if cutting is possible. Examples include:

  • Stainless steel: engraving only

  • Aluminium: engraving only

  • Wood: cutting / engraving

  • Acrylic: cutting / engraving

  • Leather: cutting / engraving

  • Glass: engraving only

  • Slate: engraving only

  • Anodised metals: engraving only

  • Powder-coated drinkware (such as tumblers and bottles): engraving only

If your material is not listed above, please let us know what it is so we can check if it is suitable for cutting or engraving.

 

 

6. What affects engraving quality?

Several factors may influence engraving results, including:

  • Material type

  • Surface coating

  • Curvature of the object

  • Artwork detail

For curved items such as bottles or glasses, the engraving size and detail may be limited.

 

 

7. Do you engrave business logos?

Yes. We regularly engrave company logos on promotional products, signage, and corporate gifts.

Please provide your logo in vector format (.AI / .SVG / .DXF). 


 

8. What if I only have a design file in JPG/PNG format?

JPG or PNG may also work if the resolution is high. If the image resolution is high, it may still be usable. However, vector files are always preferred for the best engraving quality.

 

 

9. Can you engrave handwriting, signatures or fingerprints?

Yes, in most cases we can convert handwriting, signatures and fingerprints into an engraving design.

 

 

10. Can you help create or adjust my design?

Yes.

If you don’t have a ready design file, we can assist with simple layout adjustments such as:

  • Adding names

  • Changing fonts

  • Resizing artwork

 

 

11. Can I see a design preview before processing?

Once the order is placed, a draft preview will be provided for confirmation before starting the processing if required.

 

12. Is there a minimum order quantity?

No. We accept both single custom items and bulk orders, and discounts may be available depending on the quantity.
